'UP'installation, Avenham Park, Preston. A site specific art work commissioned for The Vintage Guild’ by They Eat Culture, co-curated by designers Wayne Hemingway MBE and Gerardine Hemingway MBE.

"A magical cast of vintage characters hidden away in a Victorian grotto on the edge of the park. Familiar popular cultural references from our childhoods mixed with religious iconography and the tacky but loveable visual reminders of our past. Made entirely from recycled materials, this sculptural installation was an exercise in reuse of the unwanted.  The clear link between these materials and the ‘vintage’ objects re created made for an interesting dialogue on the theme of valuing our past as an important part of our future."
